Louisa Love Music

About Louisa Love

“Your voice is too husky for the school choir.” That didn't stop Louisa pursuing singing and music at an early age but the early rejection sowed a  seed. If Louisa was going to make music, she'd make sure she had something truly worthwhile to  say.

That silence continued on due to childhood trauma, and in order to process her emotions and heal,  Louisa embarked on a self-healing quest which took her to England in her twenties. In England she  became a qualified Kinesiologist and embraced a spiritual and holistic therapy journey. By healing  herself, Louisa in turn has supported healing others through her psychotherapeutic modalities,  training and holistic approach. This came full circle as Louisa became a mother, ensuring her  children would have a safe space to live in a place of love and healing. By being the change, a better  cycle has hopefully begun.

An invitation to sing at Medicine Festival in 2022 was the catalyst for a creative awakening. Now in  her forties and with so many experiences and perspectives of healing from herself, her families and  her clients – Louisa could be silent no more. Like a cork popping off an elixir, song after song  poured out. Louisa was so compelled to compose and sing authentically with intent that she walked  away from a well known producer who tried to mold her into something she was not. It was scary  yet freeing. Gone were the fears of creative stifling. A true vision of Louisa Love's creative work  was born.

Like a fine wine, these songs and Louisa's delivery would not be so powerful or so sincere if they  hadn't taken decades of life experience to develop and mature. The Glow is an album that has been  decades in the making.  Download One-pager

A holistic approach is also something that applies to Louisa Love's music.

“I have songs for every mood or feeling and 'The Glow' brings something to meet you where you  are at.”

Each song on Louisa's debut album 'The Glow' is an expression of healing. Some songs like 'Shine'  greet you with a smile and warm embrace when you are strident and in full bloom. Others such as  ‘The Glow' light a fire in your belly. Louisa also embraces a variety of genres, moving away from  the traditional acoustic medicine and healing music soundscapes into more uptempo and jazz infused numbers. Much like aromatherapy has scents to match your moods, the songs match moods  and feelings too.

'The Glow' is dated for release on 22nd august. .
